Verse 369 

காணவே முத்திரைக்கு விபரஞ் சொல்வேன்

கைலாசம் இடங்கொள்ளாது என்று சொல்லி

பூணவே ஆறுவகை முத்திரையில் மைந்தா

புனிதமுடன் மூன்றுவகை முத்திரையைக் கேளு

தோணவே சித்தாதி நூல்கள் தோறுஞ்

சுகமான முத்திரையை சொன்னதல்லால்

பேணவே விபரமது சொல்லவில்லை

பேரான சவுமிய சாகரத்தைப் பாரே

Translation:

I will tell you details about the mudras

Saying that then there will not be any place in Kailasa

Son, to hold the six types of mudra

Listen about the three mudras now

In all the siddha books

They have mentioned the (names of) mudras

But not the details.

Commentary:

Now Agatthiyar begins to describe how to hold these mudras.  He says that the siddha books mention the name of the mudras but not the details on how to hold them.  He says that one should consult saumya sagaram for information.

முத்திரைகளின் பயன்களைக் கூறிய பிறகு அகத்தியர் அந்த முத்திரைகளை எவ்வாறு கொள்வது என்று கூறத் தொடங்குகிறார்.  பிற சித்த நூல்கள் இந்த முத்திரைகளின் பெயர்களைக் கூறினாலும் அவற்றை எவ்வாறு கொள்வது என்று கூறுவதில்லை. அந்த விவரங்களை அறிந்துகொள்ள ஒருவர் சௌமிய சாகரத்தைப் பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
