358. She is the saguna and nirguna Brahman

Verse 358

தாயாகி மூலகண பதியுமாகி

தண்மையுள்ள நான்முகனும் மாலுமாகித்

தீயாகி ருத்திரனும் மயேஸ்பரனுமாகி

சிவசிவா சதாசிவனு மணியுமாகி

ஓயாத முச்சுடரும் ஒளியுமாகி

ஒன்றுமற்று நின்றபொருள் தானுமாகி

வாயார ஓதுகின்ற மந்திரமாகி

மந்திரமெல்லாம் அடங்கும் சோதிதானே

Translation:

Becoming the mother and the mula ganapathy

As the cool Brahma and Maal

As the fire, the Rudra and Maheswara

Siva sivaa, as Sadasiva and Mani (Manonmani)

As the never quenched triple flame, as the light

As the entity that remains without anything, as Self

As the mantra recited

As the effulgence where all the mantra abide.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is concluding his eulogy of Sakthi with this verse.  After saying that she is all the mantra he says that she is the mother and all the deities, Mulaganapathy, Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Maheswari, Sadasiva.  She is also Manonmani, the triple flames, the supreme effulgence and the nirguna brahman who cannot be defined by a specific quality.  She is the mantra and the effulgence where all the mantra abide.

இப்பாடலுடன் அகத்தியர் சக்தியின் தோத்திரத்தை முடிக்கிறார்.  அவளே எல்லா மந்திரங்களும் என்று முற்பாடலில் போற்றிய பிறகு இப்பாடலில் அவளே அந்த மந்திரங்களால் தொழப்படும் தெய்வங்கள் என்றும் அவளே மனோன்மணி, முச்சுடர்கள் மற்றும் இந்தக் குணம்தான் என்று வரையறுக்க முடியாத நிர்குணபிரம்மன் என்றும் அவர் கூறுகிறார். சக்தியே அனைத்து மந்திரங்களும் அந்த மந்திரங்கள் முடியும் சோதியும் ஆவாள்.
