Verse 340

மயேஸ்வரி பூசை

பாரப்பா இந்த விதந் தேவி பூசை

பதறாமல் செய்து சிவா யோகம் பார்த்தால்

நேரப்பா நின்றவனாம் மகனே என்று

நினைத்தவரந் தான் கொடுப்பாள் நிலையைப் பற்றி

சாரப்பா வாசி சிவா யோகத்தாலே

சார்ந்திருந்து பூரணியைப் பூசை செய்து

காரப்பா ஆதாரம் நன்றாய்ப் பார்த்து

கருத்தை வைத்து பூசை செய்யக் கருவைக் கேளே

Translation:

Maheswari Puja

See son, if you perform Devi puja this way

Patiently and perceive Sivayogam

She will call you son

And grant all the boons wished for.  Hold the position

And associate with it.  To associate with vaasi yogam,

Perform worship of poorani

To see the adhara well

and perform her puja, listen to the method.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar talks about Sakti puja in this verse.  After performing yoga and raising consciousness to higher states one has to perform sakti puja.  Agatthiyar calls this Maheswari puja.  He says that if this worship is performed after attaining Siva yogam, perceiving the adhara, Sakthi will grant all the boons one wishes for.

அஷ்டாங்க யோகத்தையும் சமாதியையும் செய்து உயருணர்வை எழுப்பிய பிறகு சக்தி பூசை செய்யவேண்டும் என்று கூறுகிறார் அகத்தியர்.  இந்தப் பூசையை மகேஸ்வரி பூஜை என்கிறார் அவர்.  இந்த பூசையை ஒருவர் சிவயோகத்தில் இருந்து ஆதாரங்களை நன்றாகப் பார்த்துவிட்டு செய்தால் சக்தி அனைத்து வரங்களையும் அருளுவாள் என்கிறார் அவர்.
