Verse 362

சித்தான தாவான முத்திரையைச் செய்து

தீர்க்கமுடன் கிலிஎன்று தியானஞ் செய்து

வத்தாத பூரணமாஞ் சிவயோக சித்தி

மகத்தான கற்பூர தீபமது சித்தி

வித்தான பிரம்மமொடு சரஸ்பதியுஞ்சித்தி

வேதமயமான சிவா போதஞ் சித்தி

சத்தான தாபன முத் திரையின் மகிமை

சங்கையுடன் கண்டு சிவ யோகஞ் செய்யே

Translation:

Performing the “thaavaana” mudra

Contemplating kili

The poornam, sivayoga siddhi

The siddhi of the lamp of camphor

Brahma and Sarasvathi siddhi

The embodiment of Veda, the siva bodham siddhi

This is the glory of the sthapana mudra

Perform sivayoga seeing this.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is talking about the sthapana mudra in this verse.  It is turning the palms to face down with all the fingers extended, the thumb not being visible.  While aavaahana means invoking sthapana means establishing.  Agatthiyar says that the mantra for this is kili.  When this mudra is performed contemplating the mantra it grants sivay yoga siddhi, the siddhi of atma darsanam, siva bodha siddhi and the siddhi of brahma and sarasvathi.  This mudra is performed along with sivayogam.

ஸ்தாபன முத்திரையைப் பற்றி இப்பாடலில் பேசுகிறார் அகத்தியர்.  ஆவாகனம் என்பது ஒரு தேவதையை ஒன்றில் வரவழைப்பது என்றால் ஸ்தாபனம் என்பது அதை அங்கு குடிகொள்ளச் செய்வது.  ஸ்தாபன முத்திரைக்கு கைகள் தரையை நோக்கி வைக்கப்பட்டு விரல்கள் நீட்டி கட்டைவிரல் உள்ளே அடக்கிவைக்கப்படுகிறது.  இந்த முத்திரை செய்யும்போது தியானிக்க வேண்டிய மந்திரம் கிலி என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.  இந்த முத்திரையினால் ஒருவர் சிவயோக சித்தி, ஆத்மசித்தி, பிரம்மா மற்றும் சரஸ்வதி சித்தி, சிவபோத சித்தி ஆகியவற்றைப் பெறுவார் என்கும் அவர் கூறுகிறார்.
