364. Thiraavini mudra

Verse 364

காணவே திராவினி முத்திரையைக் கொண்டு

கருணையுடன் வங்கென்று தியானஞ் செய்யில்

பூணவே ருத்திரன் முதல் சகல செந்தும்

புவியாளும் மறவனோடு வசியமாகுந்த்

தோணவே சந்தான சவுபாக்கியங்கள்

சத்தமுடன் ஐந்துருவுஞ் சித்தியாகும்

பேணவே ருத்திரியுஞ் சத்தியோடு

பிலவான திராவினி யால் சித்தி பாரே

Translation:

Holding the thiraavini mudra

If vang is contemplated

All the lifeforms including Rudra

The ruler of the world, the King included, will be enchanted (vasiyam)

All the wealth, riches and offspring

The five qualities starting with sabdha siddhi will be attained

Along with rudri and sakthi

Their siddhi will be attained by thiraavini.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is talking about the next mudra, thiraavini.  Some call it thiruvini mudra.  He says that the mantra that should be contemplated with this mudra is vang.  Then vasiyam or enchantment of all life forms including Rudra and his consort Rudri will be attained.  Siddhi of the  five subtle elements, sabdha, rasa, rupa, sparsha and gandha will also be attained.  Thus, this mudra seems to be granting manipuraka cakra siddhi.

அடுத்து அகத்தியர் திராவினி முத்திரையைப் பற்றிப் பேசுகிறார்.  இந்த முத்திரையைப் பிடிக்கும்போது வங் என்ற மந்திரத்தை தியானம் செய்யவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அவர்.  அதனால் எல்லா உயிர்களும், அரசன், ருத்திரன், ருத்திரி உள்பட வசியமாவார் என்கிறார் அவர்.  மேலும் ஐந்து தன்மாத்திரங்கலான சப்தம், ஸ்பர்சம் ரசம் ரூபம் கந்தம் என்ற ஐந்தும் வசியமாகும் என்கிறார் அவர்.  இந்த ஐந்தாகத்தான் ஒரு ஜீவன் இந்த உலகைப் பார்க்கிறது.  இதனால் பொறிகளின் சித்தியுடன் புலன்களின் சித்தியும் கிட்டுகிறது என்பது தெரிகிறது.  இது மணிபூரக சக்கர சித்தியை அருளுவதாகத் தெரிகிறது.
