Verse 355

தாயாகி ஆதார மூலமாகித்

தன்னொளிவும் விண்ணொளிவுந் தான்தானாகி

தீயாகிக் காற்றாகி வானுமாகி

செயலாகி மண்ணாகிப் புண்ணுமாகி

வாயாகிக் கண்ணாகி மூக்குமாகி

வானிறைந்த காற்றாகிப் பருசமாகி

சேயாகித் திருவாகிச் செல்வமாகி

தேவி மனோன்மணியான கண்ணே என்னே

Translation:

As mother, as the adhara mula (muladhara)

As that which hides the self and the space, as Self

As fire, air and sky

As action, as earth and body/injury

As mouth, as eye, as nose

As the air which fills the sky and as touch sensation

As the child, as auspiciousness as wealth

Devi Manonmani!  My Dear!, Oh!

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is praising Sakthi in the context of kundalini yogam.  Sakthi is the mother who remains in the muladhara.  She is the maya that conceals the self and the space.  She is also the self.  She is the five elements, the sense organs and their subtle qualities.  She is the auspiciousness.  She is manonmani, the supreme state beyond the mind.

அகத்தியர் சக்தியை குண்டலினி யோகத்தின் பகுதிகளாகப் போற்றுகிறார்.  சக்தியே மூலாதாரத்தில் இருக்கும் தாய்.  அவளை தன்னையும் விண்ணையும் மறைக்கும் மாயை,  அவளே தான் எனப்படும் அகங்காரமும்.  அவளே பஞ்ச பூதங்கள், புனல்கள், பொறிகள்,  அவளே மனோன்மணி, மனத்தைக் கடந்த உச்ச நிலை, சோடசகலையில் அடையும் உச்ச நிலை.
