327. Worship of Ajna

Verse 327

ஆச்சப்பா அருள் நிறைந்த புருவ மத்தி

அண்டபகி ரண்டமென்ற ஆதிவீடு

பேச்சப்பா பெருகிநின்ற ஆதி வீட்டில்

பிலமான பஞ்ச கரத்தாள் பஞ்ச சத்தி

மூச்சப்பா நிறைந்ததொரு சுடர்கள் மூன்று

 முனையான சுழிமுனைதான் மோக்ஷ மென்று

போச்சப்பா அந்திடமே சொந்தமாக

புத்தியுடன் அந்திடத்தைப் பூசை பண்ணே

Translation:

Yes son the middle of the brow

Is the primal house of universes

Within the primal house

The support- the five performers and five energies (Sakthi)

The breath- the triple flames

The tip- that of the whorl as moksha

It went there as the original place

Worship that place with buddhi (discrimination).

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is talking about the greatness of the ajna cakra.  He says it the primary locus of manifestation- the unierses, the pancha kartha and their sakthis, the triple flame of agni, surya and Chandra, the breath.  It is the terminus of the whorld-kundalini.  Thus the ajna is the origin and end of everything.  He tells Pulatthiyar to worship this locus as one’s own house, with buddhi or discrimination f permanent and temporary entities.

ஆக்ஞா சக்கரத்தை இப்பாடலில் போற்றுகிறார் அகத்தியர்.  அதுவே அனைத்துக்கும் மூலம், அனைத்தும் ஒடுங்கும் இடமும் அதுவே என்கிறார் அவர்.  அங்குதான் எல்லா அண்டங்கள் (வெளி), பஞ்ச கர்த்தாக்களும் அவர்களது சக்திகளும் (செயல்பாட்டை ஏற்படுத்துபவர்கள்), முச்சுடர்களும் (அறிவு என்னும் விளக்கு), சுழிமுனையின் உச்சி (முடியும் இடம் துவக்க இடம்) ஆகியவை உள்ளன என்றும் அந்த இடத்தை ஒருவர் தனது சொந்த வீடாக எண்ணி புத்தியுடன் பூசை செய்யவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
