306. Maheswara dhyanam

Verse 306

இருந்துகொண்டு மயேசுரனைத் தியானம் பண்ணி

இருள்கண்ட வெளிபோலே இன்பங் கொண்டு

வருந்தி நின்ற குண்டலமுங் கிரீடஞ்சாற்றி

மகத்தான மயேஸ்வரியை வாமம் வைத்து

சொரிந்த முர்தம் பூரணமாய் போதங்கொண்டு

சுகசீவ பிராண கலை சுத்தமாக

அருந்தலமா இருதயத்தில் நினைக்க மைந்தா

அப்பனே மயேஸ்வரனார் தியானங்காணே

Translation:

Remaining so, contemplating on Maheswara

Attaining bliss like the space that experienced darkness

Adorning earrings and crown

Placing Maheswari on the left

With the nectar flowing, consuming awareness (bodham)

With the sukha jeeva prana kala attaining purity

Son, thinking about this in the heart

Commentary:

This dhyana is at the anahata cakra.  Maheswara and his consort Maheswari are the atidevata here.  The state experienced here is at the soul level.  Agatthiyar mentions this as Jiva prana kalai.  The divine nectar of secretion from lalata flows down.  The sukha jiva prana kalai gets purified here.

இப்பாடல் அனாகத சக்கரத்தின் அதிபதியான மகேஸ்வரனின் தியானம்.  இது ஜீவநிலையில் ஏற்படுகிறது.  அதையே அகத்தியர் சுக சீவ பிராண கலை தூய்மையடைகிறது என்கிறார்.  இந்த நிலையில் லலாடத்திலிருந்து அமிர்தம் ஊறத் தொடங்குகிறது.
