177. Benefits of performing puja at the saint's samadhi

Verse 177

காணவே குருபூசை நன்றாய்ச் செய்து

கருணைவளர் சமாதி தனில் கடாக்ஷமாக

பூணவே நித்தியமும் பூசை செய்தாற்

பூரணமாய்மூர்த்திகரம் புதுமையாகும்

தோணவே சத்தியுட சமாதி தன்னில்

துலங்கும் வெகு புதுமைகள்தான் என்ன சொல்வேன்

பேணவே பூரணமாய்ச் சமாதி பூசைப்

பெருமைவிட்டு ஒருமையதாய்ச் செய்துபாரே

Translation:

Performing guru puja well

At the tomb increasing the grace as blessings

If the worship ritual is performed daily

The embodiment of murthy will occur with newness

In the tomb of the sakthi

Several novalties will occur, What can I say!

Nurture the tomb with prayers

Perform it leaving pride and with the idea that it is singularity.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar says that when the above rituals are perfomed perfectly with humility, devotion with the attitude seeking the singularity several novalies will occur at the tomb.  The lady yogin will grant her blessings.

சமாதியில் பூஜைகளைக் மேற்கூறியபடி பக்தி, கருணை, தாழ்மை ஆகியவற்றுடன் செய்தால், ஒருமை என்ற உணர்வுடன் தற்பெருமையை விட்டுவிட்டுச் செய்தால் பல புதுமைகள் அங்கு நடக்கும்.  அந்த யோகி தனது கடாக்ஷத்தை அருளுவார் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
