Verse 175

வையப்பா கீழ்முகமாய்க் குகையில் வைத்து

மார்க்கமுடன் செங்கல் கல்லுப்பு நீறும்

மெய்யப்பா மூன்று பொடி ஒன்றாய்க் கூட்டி

மேன்மைபெற குகை நிறைய அமிழ்த்திவைத்து

கையப்பா வாராமல் மணல் நிறுத்திக்

கருணையுடன் சதுரமதாய் திரணை செய்து

செய்யப்பா திரணை நடுஸ் தம்பம் வைத்துத்

தீர்க்கமுடன் மானதமாய்ப் பூசை பண்ணே

Translation:

Place the body facing East within the cave

Add the powders of brick, rock salt and sacred ash

Combining the three together

Fill the cave so immerse the body in it

Add sand to it

Place a square stone plank with cornice

Place a pillar in the middle

And pray and perform mental worship.

Commentary:

After the body is place in the tomb it is filled with powdered brick, rock salt and sacred ash.  One wonders in the case of the male yogin also whether Agatthiyar meant rock salt when he said “kalluppodi”.  He does not mention adding the camphor as it was done with the male yogin. The tomb was filled with sand and a flat piece of slab is placed.  Instead of a linga as it was death in the male yogi’s case a pillar or sthamba is placed on top.  Agatthiyar says that mental worship should be performed after covering the tomb.

பெண் யோகியின் உடலை சமாதியினுள் வைத்த பிறகு அதை செங்கல், கள் உப்பு மற்றும் விபூதியால் அமிழ்த்த வேண்டும்.  ஆண்யோகிக்கு கல் பொடி என்று கூறியது கள் உப்புப் பொடியாக இருக்குமோ என்ற கேள்வி இங்கு எழுகிறது.  பிறகு சமாதியினுள் மணலைச் சேர்க்கவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.  ஆண் யோகிக்குக் கூறியதைப் போல இங்கு கற்பூரத்தைச் சேர்க்கக் கூறவில்லை. பிறகு சமாதியின் மேல் சதுரமான கல்லை வைத்து அதன் மேல் ஒரு ஸ்தம்பத்தை வைக்க வேண்டும் என்கிறார்.  சமாதியின் மீது லிங்கத்தை வைக்கக் கூறவில்லை.  இவ்வாறு ஆண் யோகியின் சமாதிக்கும் பெண் யோகியின் சமாதிக்கும் இடையே பல வித்தியாசங்கள் உள்ளன.  இவ்வாறு சமாதியை மூடிய பிறகு அங்கு மானச பூசை செய்யவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
