231. Akarshanam removes births, the yogin experiences space

Verse 231

பாரான பார்தனிலே வஷ்டகர்மம்

பத்தியுடன் செய்துவிளை யாடும்போது

வீரான கர்ப்பமெல்லாங் கிருசனத்தினாலே

விட்டகன்று போகுமடா விண்ணை நோக்கு

நேராக நோக்கு மனக்கண்ணால் நீயும்

நேர்மையுடன் குருபதியில் நின்றாயாகில்

பேரான வாலை கணபதியினாலே

பெருமையுடன் கிருசனத்தைப் பேணிப் பாரே

Translation:

In the world, the ashta karam

When it is performed with devotion and played

All the births, due to kirusanam

Will leave, son, see the sky

You see this truthfully through the mind’s eye

If you remain in the gurupathi

Due to Vaalai Ganapathy

You will nurture kirushanam gloriously and experience it.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar reiterates the idea found in the previous verse.  He says if aakarshanam is performed property all the births will leave a person, that is, he will not have anymore births.  The yogi experiences the state of space when he remains in the gurupathi or locus of guru.  Agatthiyar tells Pulatthiyar to experience this.  Thus aakarshanam makes all the experiences due to the ascent of kundalini, possible.

முந்தைய பாடலில் கூறிய கருத்தை இப்பாடலில் மீண்டும் வலியுறுத்துகிறார் அகத்தியர்.  ஒருவர் ஆகர்ஷனத்தை முறையாகச் செய்தால் கர்ப்பங்கள் அல்லது பிறவிகள் அவரைவிட்டு ஓடும் என்றும் அந்த யோக குருபத்தில் நின்று பார்த்தால் விண் அல்லது வெட்டவெளி எனப்படும் இறைநிலை அவருக்குப் புலப்படும் என்றும் அகத்தியர் கூறுகிறார். இவ்வாறு ஆகர்ஷணத்தின் பயன் கர்மங்களை அறுப்பது என்று அகத்தியர் கூறுகிறார்.
