96. Kriya-2 Its effects

Verse 96

சாற்றிநீ தொழுதங்கே நின்றாயானாற்

சங்கையுள்ள பாவமெல்லாந் தானே தீரும்

போற்றியே ஆதாரப் புதுமைகண்டு

பொருந்திநின்ற வாசியுட திறத்தைப் பெற்று

நேத்திரத்தின் சின்மயத்தைக் கண்டு போற்றி

நினைவறியா மானிடர்கள் நேசந்தப்பி

ஆற்றுமத்தின் நிலைதனையே காணமற்றான்

அலைவார்கள் கிரியை வழி அறியார்பாரே

Translation:

If you remain there offering it,

All the sins will be expiated

Praising the wonder of the adhara

Attaining the capabilities of vaasi

Praising the chinmaya of the eye.

People who do not know this, with wrong desire

Without knowing how to perform it,

They will roam around, they do not know the way of kriya, see.

Commentary:

In this second verse on kriya Agatthiyar says that when one raises the consciousness to ajna, “sees” Siva and sakthi as the flame and offers the lifeforce all the sins will leave.  One will realize the uniqueniess, wonder of the adhara and see the embodiment of chith or consciousness as the flame in the third eye.  Without knowing this procedure people perform all kinds of rituals and whirl around without any benefit.

உணர்வை ஆக்ஞைக்கு எழுப்பி அங்கு சிவன் சக்திகளை ஒளி வடிவில் தரிசித்து அவர்களுக்கு வாசி மலரை சமர்ப்பித்தால் ஒருவரது பாபம் எல்லாம் விலகிவிடும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.  இவ்வாறு செய்பவர் ஆதாரங்களின் புதுமையையும் மூன்றாவது கண்ணில் சின்மயத்தையும் பாரப்பர்.  இவ்வாறு செய்யாதவர்கள் பல்வேறு சடங்குகளை மேற்கொண்டு பயனற்றுத் திரிவர் என்கிறார் அவர்.
