Verse 413

பாராக்கும் புலத்திய மாரிஷியே அய்யா

பதியான உலகமது பேயாங்கூற்று

நேரான கூற்றதுதான் சிவன் செயலென்றெண்ணி

நேர்மையடன் பூரணமாய்ப் புருவமேவி

தூரான அடிமுடியும் ஒன்றாய்க் கண்டு

சுக சீவப் பிராணமயமாக நின்றால்

மாறாத வாழ்வுசிவ யோக வாழ்வு

வந்துதடா வந்துதடா மனதைக் காரே

Translation:

Pulathiya Maharishi, Sir!

The world, the locus is the god of death, the ghost,

Considering the god of death as the action of Sivan,

Going to the brow middle, straight,

Seeing the top and bottom as one

If you remain as sukha jeeva pranamayam

The life is that of sivayoga life

It occurred, it occurred, watch the mind.

Commentary:

In this verse Agatthiyar defines the life of sivayoga or “sivayoga vaazhvu”.  He says that if one considers this world as nothing but god of death, Yama, remains at the ajna cakra seeing the top and bottom- the muladhara and ajna together and lives as embodiment of sukha jeeva prana then it is the life of sivayoga. 

இப்பாடலில் அகத்தியர் சிவயோக வாழ்வு என்றால் என்ன என்று விளக்குகிறார்.  ஒருவர் இவ்வுலகைக் கூற்று அல்லது மரணத்தைக் கொடுப்பது, பேய் என்று எண்ணி, புருவ மத்தியில் உள்ள ஆக்ஞா சக்கரத்தில் நின்று, அடி முடி எனப்படும் மூலாதாரம், ஆக்ஞா என்ற இரு சக்கரங்களையும் ஒன்றாகப் பார்த்து சுக ஜீவபிராணமயமாக இருப்பதே சிவயோக வாழ்வு என்று கூறுகிறார்.

சிவயோகம் என்றால் சிவத்துடன் சேர்ந்திருப்பது என்று பொருள்.
