22. Sites of action of these preparations and procedures and their result

Verse 22

கோடியென்ற வெகுகோடி தொழில்களெல்லாங்

குறித்தபடி சௌமியமாய்க் காணலாகும்

நாடி மனங் கொண்டு குறி கண்டாயானால்

நந்தி பிரகாசமது நயனந்தன்னில்

ஆடிநின்ற திரு நடனங் காணலாகும்

அப்பனே சக்கரங்கள் தோணும் பாரு

சூடிநின்ற சக்கரத்தின் இனங்கள் தன்னை

சொல்லுகிறேன் வேத முறை சூக்ஷந்தானே

Translation:

The millions of actions

Will be perceived as beneficial.

Seeking it, if you see the sign with the mind

The brilliance of Nandi in the eyes (will become visible)

The sacred dance/ the dance of the sacred will be seen

Son, the cakras will appear, see

The groups that the cakra adorned/the group of cakras adorned

I will tell them, the method of veda, the subtlety.

Commentary:

Herbo metallic preparations play a very important role in Siddha marga.  These preparations are used as aids in attaining higher states of consciousness.  Hence, after describing the procedures and preparations Agatthiyar talks about their site of action the cakras. 

He says that one has to seek the supreme state with the mind.  Mind serves as both a facilitator and a deterrent.  One has to seek the states of higher consciousness with the help of the mind and ultimately lose the mind also.  If one does it, the brilliance of the supreme state that of Nandi will become visible.  The dance of the Divine, the active manifestations will reveal their truth.  The cakra, the points of emergence of these principles and the principles that are present there will become visible.  Agatthiyar says this is supreme subtlety and he will reveal these methods of Veda, knowledge as well as transformation.

மூலிகைத் தயாரிப்புக்கள் சித்த மார்க்கத்தில் முக்கிய இடத்தை வகிக்கின்றன.  அவற்றின் உதவியால் உயருணர்வு நிலையைப் பெறலாம்.  அதனால் தயாரிப்புக்களையும் சரக்குகளையும் கூறிய பிறகு அவற்றின் செயல் தளங்களான சக்கரங்களைப் பற்றி அகத்தியர் இப்பாடலில் கூறுகிறார்.  இந்த சக்கரங்களின் ஊடே உணர்வுநிலைகளின் எழுச்சி ஏற்படுகிறது.  அதை மனத்தின் உதவியால்தான் செய்ய முடியும்.  அதனால் அகத்தியர் மனத்தினால் குறியைப் பார்க்கவேண்டும், அப்போது நந்தியின் பிரகாசம் கண்ணில் தென்படும் என்று கூறுகிறார்.  இறைவனின் திருநடனமான செயல்பாடுடைய உலகம் தென்படும்.  இவை நடைபெறுவது சக்கரங்களில்.  அதனால் சக்கரங்களும் அவை பூணும் தத்துவங்களும் புலப்படுகின்றன.  இதுதான் சூட்சுமம், வேத வழி என்று அகத்தியர் கூறுகிறார்.  வேதவழி என்பது வேதம் கூறும் வழி என்றும் வேதை அல்லது ரசவாத வழி என்றும் இரு பொருள்களைத் தருகிறது.
