இன்னங் கேள் சொல்லுகிறேன் ஜெயநீர் போக்கு

இன்பமுள்ள திராவகத்தின் கருவின் மார்க்கஞ்

சொன்னதொரு கட்டினாங்கள் உருக்கினங்கள்

சுகமான பற்பமொடு செந்தூரங்கள்

வர்ணமுள்ள களங்குடனேமெழுகு மார்க்கம்

மகத்தான் தூபமொடு தீப வேதை

என்ன வொண்ணாத் தைலமொடு லேகியங்கள்

ஏகாந்த மானதொரு லகிரி போக்கே

Here some more, I will tell about the movement of Jayaneer

The path of the essence of tinctures

The types of solidifications, melting

Ashes, reddened preparations

The colorful waxes, compounds

The supreme fragrance, lamp and alchemy

The unthinkable oil extractions and semisolids

The path of the singular bliss and its path.

Commentary:

This verse lists all the medicinal preparations that Agathiyar will describe in this work.  As the aim of this commentary is only to address the philosophical verses we will not elaborate on these.  It is also beyond the capacity of the author.  Several of these preparations are explained at Siddharkal Rajjiyam.  Please check the blog for information. For example, chendooram are reddened preparations where components are fried, roasted, powered and processed so that they become red.  There are four types of chendooram- mruthyunjaya, aya chendooram, ayaveera chendhooram and chanda maarutha chendooram.  Details about the preparations and their uses are given in http://www.siththarkal.com/2012/08/sentoram.html
