Vairava dhyanam

வைரவத் தியானம்

பாரப்பா வைரவனார் தியானங் கேளு

பரிவான வைரவனை யார்தான் காண்பார்

நேரப்பா அவருடைய நிலையைக் கேளு

நிலையான ஆதார முடி மேலாக

காரப்பா உங் கிலி அங்கென்றோதி

கருத்துறவே மனதாக நின்றாயானால்

ஊரப்பா ஊர் முழுதுங் காவலான

உண்மை என்ற வைரவனைக் காணலாமே

Translation:

See son, listen to Bhairava dhyana

Who will see the merciful Bhairava?

Listen to his true state

On top of the adhara (cakra), the support/locus

Recite ung, kili ang

If you remain with focus of mind

The protector, the protector of the whole town

The truth, the Bhairava can be seen.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is beginning to describe Bhairava dhyana.  Bhairava is called kshetra pala or the protector of the locus.  The locus here is the body especially ajna.  In Siddha marga the ajna is called ‘kasi” or the city of light as the light of the soul is witnessed here.  Bhairava is the protector of this Kasi.  Hence, Agatthiyar is describing the dhyana of Bhairava next.

He says that one has focus at the top of the adhara or cakra and recite the mantra ung, kili, ang.  Then one would see Bhairava in that locus.

பைரவ தியானத்தைக் கூறத் தொடங்குகிறார் அகத்தியர்.  பைரவர் க்ஷேத்திர பாலர் அல்லது இடத்தைக் காப்பவர் என்று அழைக்கப்படுகிறார்.  இங்கு இடம் என்பது நம் உடல், முக்கியமாக ஆக்ஞை.  சித்த மார்க்கத்தில் ஆக்ஞை காசி அல்லது ஒளிபொருந்திய நகரம் எனப்படுகிறது.  இந்த காசியின் க்ஷேத்ர பாலர் பைரவர்.  அதனால் அகத்தியர் பைரவரின் தியானத்தை அடுத்து கூறுகிறார். பைரவரது மந்திரம் உங், கிலி, அங் என்பது.   இதை உச்சரித்தால் பைரவ தரிசனம் கிட்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
