461. Drink the nectar by remaining in the third eye

Verse 461

பண்ணப்பா கேசரியை பூசைபண்ணி

பரியான மந்திரகலை  வாசிதன்னை

நண்ணப்பா  அவள் பதமே கெதிஎன்றெண்ணி

நாளான நாளறிந்து பூசை பண்ணி

கண்ணப்பா தானிருந்து இடையாங்கண்ணில்

கால்மாரி கொண்டுகெதி கண்ணைப் பார்த்து

உண்ணப்பா வாசியினால் உருஞ்சி உண்ணு

உண்ணையிலே மனந்தன்னை ஒடுங்கி உண்ணே

Translation:

Do son, the puja of kechari

The mantra kala vaasi

Seek it, considering her sacred feet as the recourse

Knowing the auspicious day, perform puja

Remaining in the eye, the one in the middle

Switching the flow of air, seeing the eye, the refuge,

Consume it by sucking it with vaasi

Abide the mind in the inner tongue (uvula) and consume it

Commentary:

Mantra kala vaasi is kundalini sakthi.  By her grace, the nectar flows.  Agatthiyar tells Pulathiyar that one should perform kechari puja on the appropriate day.  One should remain in the third eye, the one between the brows.  The flow of air is switched from going down to up.  The nectar is sucked in using vaasi or breath, prana combination at the uvula or inner tongue.

மந்திர கலை வாசி என்பது குண்டலினி சக்தி. அவளது அருளால் அமிர்தம் சுரக்கிறது.  விசேஷமான நாளை அறிந்து அன்று கேசரி பூசையைச் செய்ய வேண்டும்.  மூன்றாவது கண் எனப்படும் ஆக்ஞையில் நின்று கீழ் நோக்கி செல்லும் காரை மேல் நோக்கிச் செலுத்தி அமிர்தத்தை வாசி எனப்படும் பிராணன், மூச்சு என்ற தொகுப்பினால் உறிஞ்சிக் குடிக்கவேண்டும். அது உண்ணாக்கு எனப்படும் இடத்தில் சுரக்கிறது என்று அகத்தியர் புலத்தியருக்குக் கூறுகிறார்.
