433. The plantain bloomed, ketaki flowered

Verse 433

அமுர்தரசம் உண்ண

ஏழையென்றே யான் பார்த்தேன் என்னைப் போலே

ஏக நிராமயமான சோதிப்பாலை

காலையிலே கருவறிந்து கொண்டோருக்கு

கண்டபடி கண்டவற்குத் தொண்டு செய்வேன்

வாழையிலே தலைகுலை சாய்ந்த மார்க்கம்

வசையரியார் துறையறியார் மனத்தைக் காணார்

தாழையிலே பூப்பூத்து சனியுண்டாச்சு

சதாபோத யோகமதால் காணுவாயே

Translation:

I saw them as seven.  Like me

The milk of the eka niramaya jyothi

For those who knew the essence in the kaal

I will serve those who saw it as is

The path of the plantain that bloomed and fruited at the top

Those who do not know it do not know the path, they donot see the mind

The ketathi flowered and movement occurred

You will see by “sadhaa bodha yogam”.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar says that he saw all the seven, the essence of the singular faultless effulgence and that he would willingly serve those who saw them, like him, through the breath.  He says that the banana plant bloomed and fruited at the top.  It refers to the sahasrara blooming, the ketaki flowered on the top.  This could be experienced by sahda bodha yogam.

அகத்தியர் அந்த ஏழையும் தான் பார்த்தேன் என்றும் அவ்வாறு அதை ஏக நிராமய சோதியாகப் பார்த்தவர்க்குத் தான் எவ்வித தொண்டையும் செய்வேன், அதாவது, அவர்கள் மிக உயர்ந்த ஆத்மாக்கள் என்று கூறுகிறார்.  இந்த நிலையை அவர் வாழை தலைக்குலை சாய்த்தது தாழை பூப்பூத்தது என்று கூறுகிறார்.  இதை ஒருவர் சதாபோத யோகத்தால் பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்றும் அவர் கூறுகிறார்.
