428. The Srikonam

Verse 428

உறுதியுள்ள பஞ்சகண பஞ்சமூலம்

உண்மையென்ற ஸ்ரீகோண மந்தத்தாலே

பருதி மதி சுடரொளியாய் அண்டஞ் சூழ்ந்து

பதிமணியாந் திசநாத வாசியாலே

சுருதி வாசியம்மா வாசியாலே

சுகசீவ பிராணகலை சோதியாகி

சரிதையொடு கிரிகை சிவயோகமாகி

சகலகலைக் கியானமென்ற ஞானமாமே

Translation:

The firm pancha gana, pancha moolam

Due to the truth, the terminus, Srichakra

The universe surrounded by the light of sun, moon and flame,

Due to the disanadha vaasi, the jewel in the locus

Due to the sruthi, the vaasi, the ammaavaasi,

Becoming the sukha jeeva prana kala jyothi,

Becoming charya, kriya and sivayoga

The jnana- the sakala kala jnana.

Commentary:

The Supreme state of union of all the dichotomies including siva and sakthi is represented by the Srichakra which is a map of the universe.  It represents the universe surrounded by the three lights, the sun, the moon and the fire or flame.  These three flames represent the nadha, bindhu and consciousness.  The vaasi is the united breath and prana that is regulated.  The sruthi is nadha and ammavaasi is the supreme state where the vaasi flows with great force.  The flame of sukha jeeva prana kala jyothi is the state of union of limited prana in the body and the universal prana.  The four states of charya, kriya, sivayoga and jnana represent different states of the soul namely, salokhyam, sameepyam, saroopyam and sayujyam. 

ஸ்ரீ வித்யா உபாசனையின் முக்கிய அங்கமான ஸ்ரீ சக்கரம் என்பது ஒருமை நிலையைக் குறிக்கிறது.  சிவ சக்தி, நாதம் பிந்து ஆகியவை ஒன்றாக இருக்கும் நிலையையும் அண்டத்தை சூழ்ந்துள்ள சூரியன் சந்திரன் அக்னி என்ற மூன்று ஒளிகளையும் அது குறிக்கிறது.  திசநாத வாசி சுருதி, பெரும் வேகம் கொண்டு ஓடும் அம்மாவாசி சுக ஜீவபிராண கலை ஜோதி, நான்கு பாதங்களான சரியை, கிரியை, யோகம் ஞானம் அல்லது சாலோகம், சமீப்பியம், சாரூப்பியம் மற்றும் சாயுச்சியம் என்ற நான்கு நிலைகளையும் அது குறிக்கிறது.
