410. Akaara, bindhu

Verse 410

பாரப்பா நிருவிகற்ப மார்தான் காண்பார்

புத்தியுள்ள புலத்தியனே பகரக் கேளு

காரப்பா அகாரமென்றால் சிவமதாச்சு

கருணைவளர் சிவமதுதான் விந்து விந்து

நேரப்பா விந்துநிலை அறிந்துகொள்ள

நிசமுனக்கு இல்லையடா நிசத்தைக் கேளு

சாரப்பா சற்குருவின் இடமே சென்று

சங்கையுடன் தானவனாய்த் தன்னைப் பாரே

Translation:

See the nirvikarpam.  Who can see it?

The knowledgeable Pulatthiya!  Listen to me,

Understand, akaara is the sivam.

The sivam that nurtures mercy is vindhu vindhu

To understand the state of vindhu

You do not know the truth, listen to the truth,

Associate yourself with a satguru,

See yourself as him.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar explains that akaara is sivam or consciousness.  It is the bindhu, the seed or the primordial form.  He tells Pulathiyar that it is impossible to know the truth about the bindu unless one hears about it from a guru.  He advises Pulathiyar to go to a satguru and remain with him to understand the truth.

அகாரம் என்றால் சிவம், பரவுணர்வு என்று அகத்தியர் புலத்தியருக்குக் கூறுகிறார். இந்த சிவமே விந்து என்றும் இதைப் பற்றிய உண்மையை அறிய ஒருவர் சத்குருவை அடைந்து தான் அவனே என்று பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்றும் அவர் கூறுகிறார்.  இந்த உண்மையை குருவின் உதவியில்லாமல் ஒரு தானாக அறியமுடியாது என்றும் அவர் கூறுகிறார்.
