221. Mantra for mohanam

Verse 221

தானென்ற சூக்ஷமது சொல்லக்கேளு

சங்கையுடன் ஓம் கிலி சிங் கென்றே தான்

வானென்ற குருபதியில் நின்று கொண்டு

மார்க்கமுடன் ஆயிரத்தெண்ணுருவே செய்தால்

கோனென்ற மகா கணபதிதான் மைந்தா

குருவான இருதயத்தில் பிரகாசிப்பார்

ஊனென்ற இருதயத்திற் பிரகாசித்தால்

உத்தமனே சகலமும் மோகனந்தான் பாரே

Translation:

Listen about this subtlety

It is Om kili sing

Remaining in the locus of guru, the sky

If it is recited thousand and eight times

The regal Maha Ganapathi, son

Will shine in the heart, the guru

If he shines in the physical heart

Everything is mohanam, see this supreme person!

Commentary:

Agatthiyar explained that Maha Ganapathi is the deity for mohanam or enchantment.  Here he tells us that the mantra for mohanam is om kili sing. The yogin should remain in the sky locus. Sky principle is represented by the vishuddhi.  In some works he has mentioned the ajna to represent the sky principle.  While remaining in this locus the mantra om kili sing is uttered 1008 times.  Then Mahaganapathi will shine in one’s heart.  When this mantra siddhi is attained then everything will feel enchanted by the yogin.  This is mohanam.

முந்தைய பாடலில் மகாகணபதியே மோகனத்துக்கு அதிபதி என்று அகத்தியர் கூறினார்.  இப்பாடலில் மோகனத்துக்கான மந்திரம் ஓம் கிலி சிங் என்று கூறுகிறார்.  இந்த மந்திரத்தை ஒருவர் வான் எனப்படும் குருபதத்தில் நின்று செபிக்க வேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.  வான் என்னும் தத்துவத்தை விசுத்தி சக்கரம் குறிக்கிறது என்றும் ஆக்ஞா சக்கரம் குறிக்கிறது என்றும் அகத்தியர் பாடல்களில் காணலாம்.  இதன் தெளிவை குருமுகமாகப் பெறவேண்டும்.  இவ்வாறு செபித்தால் அந்த யோகியின் இதயத்தில் மகாகணபதி பிரகாசிப்பார் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.  அப்போது உலகம் அனைத்தும் அவரைக் குறித்து மோகனமாகும் என்றும் கூறுகிறார்
