216. Agatthiyar begins to talk about vaseekaram

Verse 216

வசீகரம்

காணவே ஸ்தூலமுடன் சூக்ஷங் கண்டால்

காரணமாய்ச் சென்று விளையாடலாகும்

பூணவே நின்று விளையாடு தற்குப்

புத்தியுடன் அஷ்டகர்ம சித்து கேளு

தோணவே அஷ்டகர்ம சித்து கேளு

சொல்லுகிறேன் வசீகரத்தின் சூக்ஷந்தன்னை

ஊணவே தானிருந்து மூலம் பார்த்து

உவமையுடன் குருபதியை உகந்துகாணே

Translation:

Vaseekaram

The gross and the subtle are seen together

It is possible to play with them as the cause

To remain and play with them

Listen about the ashta karma sitthu, with your buddhi.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar explained the gross and the subtle in the previous verses as the body and the singular letter or Divine consciousness that dances within.  If this knowledge is attained he says it will be possible to operate from the state of cause. He says that at this state the ashta karma will be possible.  For that one has to remain perceiving the muladhara.

சூட்சுமம் என்றால் உள்ளிருந்து ஆடும் இறை சக்தி என்றும் ஸ்தூலம் என்றால் மற்றவை அனைத்தும் என்றும் கூறிய அகத்தியர் இந்த அறிவைப் பெற்றால் காரண நிலையிலிருந்து செயல்படலாம் என்கிறார்.  இது ஒருவருக்கு அஷ்ட கர்ம சித்தியை ஏற்படுத்தும்.  அதனைச் செய்ய ஒருவர் மூலாதாரத்தில் அழுத்தமாக ஊணி குருபதியைப் பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அவர்.  இவ்வாறு கூறிவிட்டு அவர் முதல் கர்மமான வசீகரத்தைப் பற்றிக் கூறத் தொடங்குகிறார்.
