192. Agatthiyar begins to explain mantra vidya

Verse 192

பண்ணடா சிவபூசை சக்தி பூசை

பத்தியுடன் சித்தமதாய் வாலை பூசை

நண்ணப்பா பூரணமாய் பூசை யோகி

நாதாந்த சோதியடா யோக பூசை

பண்ணடா தவறாமல் பூசை செய்ய

கருமானஞ் சொல்லுகிறேன் கருவாய்க் கேளு

விண்ணடா நிறைந்த மலர்க் கண்ணே சூக்ஷம்

வேதாந்த சூக்ஷமதை விரும்பிக் கேளே

Translation:

Perform son, siva puja sakthi puja

With devotion, as chittham, the valai puja

Seek the puja, the yogi, as fully complete

The yoga puja is nadhantha jyothi

Perform it without fail

I will tell you the magical way, listen carefully

The eye of the flower of the sky is the subtlty

Listen to the Vedanta sukshma, with interest.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is starting to talk about the secret ways in which the worship ritual, kundalini yoga, should be performed.  He says that a yogi will perform Siva puja, sakthi puja, valai puja with chittham.  The goal of the worship is nadhantha jyothi.  This is supreme consciousness that remains beyond the nadha.  This is the paraparam. This is the terminus if veda or all knowledge.

ஒரு குண்டலினி யோகி செய்யும் பூசை நாதாந்த சோதி பூசை.  இதற்கு வழி சிவ பூசை, சக்தி பூசை, வாலை பூசை ஆகியவை வழிமுறைகள்.  இந்த நாதாந்த சோதி பூசை சித்தத்தால் செய்யப்படுகிறது.  அதற்கான வழிமுறை மந்திரமுறை.  கருமானம் என்பதற்கு மந்திர வித்தை என்று பொருள்.  இந்த வேதாந்த சூக்ஷத்தைத் தான் கூறப்போவதாக அகத்தியர் சொல்கிறார்.
