145. Agora muni, Saradanadha muni, Vishnu muni

Verse 145

பாரடா சுகமாக வனந்த நாள் மைந்தா

பதிவாக ஏழாயிரங் கோடி மீண்டால்

நேரடா வகோரமுநிக்கிருவருமையா

நிசமாக அந்தநாள் எண்கோடி சென்றால்

சாரதா நாதமுனி பூரணமுமாவார்

சங்கையுடன் அந்த நாள் கோடிசென்றால்

பேரடா விஷ்ணுமுனி பரமபதமாவார்

பிலமான அந்த நாள் பதிங்கோடிதானே

Translation:

See son, if the eternal days

Seven thousand crores occur

It is two (years) for Agora muni

If eight crore such days pass

The Sarada Nadha muni will attain completion

If one crore such days go by

Vishnumuni will attain paramapadam

The locus, ten crore such days.

Commentary:

This verse describes the lifespan of Agora muni, Sarada Nadha muni and Vishnu muni.  We may recall that these munis were mentioned in the earlier verses that described creation. 

இப்பாடலில் அகோரமுனி, சாரதா நாத முனி மற்றும் விஷ்ணு முனியின் ஆயுட்காலம் எவ்வளவு என்று அகத்தியர் கூறுகிறார்.  இந்த முனிவர்களை அகத்தியர் உலகம் தோன்றிய வரலாற்றை விளக்கிய முந்தைய பாடல்களில் குறிப்பிட்டதை இங்கே நினைவுகூறுவோமாக.
