Verse 134
தானென்ற அன்னமதால் நித்திரையுண்டாய்ச்
சங்கையுடன் அனுபோகமூப்பிளமையுண்டாய்
வானென்ற வேகமுடன் ஆசையுண்டாய்
வஞ்சகமும் பிறப்பிறப்புத் தானும் உண்டாய்
தேனென்ற பல கோவில் நதிகளுண்டாய்ச்
செகராச மகுடபதி வர்க்க முண்டாய்க்
கோனென்ற வொப்பனைகள் நன்றாய்ச் செய்து
குறிப்புடனே நாள் முகூர்த்தஞ் செய்தார் பாரே
Translation:
Due to the
food, sleep occurred
With
knowledge, pleasure, old age and youth occurred
Speedily
desire occurred
Deceitfulness,
birth and death occurred
Several
temples and rivers occurred
The class of
the king of the world occurring
Performing the
royal adornments well,
He created
auspicious day and time of the day. See!
Commentary:
Agatthiyar
tells us that all the divisions, distinctions, dualities that we see are due to
food. Food caused sleep, pleasure,
stages of life, birth and death, along with behavior. People also created temples, rivers, classes
of society and auspicious times.
அன்னத்தினால் எல்லா இருமைகளும் தோன்றின என்கிறார்
அகத்தியர். உணவினால் தூக்கம், இன்பம், பிறப்பு
இறப்பு, பழக்கவழக்கங்கள் ஆகியவை தோன்றின என்கிறார் அவர். நதிகள், கோயில்கள், சாதிகள், நல்ல நேரம்
ஆகியவற்றையும் மக்கள் ஏற்படுத்தினார்கள் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
