68. Lahiri due to vishuddhi practice..

Verse 68

போட்ட பின்பு மனதுகந்து மனக்கண் சாத்தி

பூரணமாய் வங்கிலி யங்கென்றிட்டு

நாட்டமுடன் தானிருந்து ஒரு நூறு மைந்தா

நன்மையுடன்தான் செபித்து நயனமேவி

தேட்டமுடன் குருபதியில் சென்று பாரு

சிவ சிவா வாய்வேக லகிரியுண்டாம்

வாட்டமில்லா லகிரியடா வாய்வேகமாகு

மகத்தான யோக சிவ போதமாமே

Translation:

After drawing, with happiness in the heart, adorning the mental eye

Add vang, kili, yang

Reciting with desire hundred times

Chanting so go to the eye (third eye)

Go to the Gurupathi and see

Siva sivaa!  Enchantment due to vayu

The undaunted vayu and enchantment will speed up

The glorious yoga siva bodham will occur.

Commentary:

Vishuddhi cakra practice places the yogin in a state of enchantment.  This occurs due to increase in the speed of vayu or prana.  One is able to perceive this mentally.  Gurupathi is a spot close to the ajna.  Some call the ajna as the gurupati. However, some Siddhas (Gorakshanath) call a spot above ajna as gurupathi.  Agatthiyar talks about a “laahiri” that this practice confers.  Amarakavi Siddheshwara calls this state as aanandha aaspadam.  He says that this enchantment will submerge a yogin and make him lose his way and that one should guard against this enchantment.

விசுத்தி சக்கரப் பயிற்சி யோகியை லகிரி நிலைக்கு இட்டுச் செல்லும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.  இது வாயு எனப்படும் பிராணனால் ஏற்படுகிறது என்கிறார் அவர்.  இந்த நிலையை ஒருவர் மனக்கண்ணால் குருபதியில் பார்க்க முடியும் என்கிறார்.  குருபதி என்பது ஆக்ஞை என்று சிலர் கூறுகின்றனர்.  சில சித்தர்கள் (கோரகனாதர்)  இந்த சக்கரம் ஆக்ஞைக்கு சிறிது மேலே இருக்கிறது என்று கூறுகிறார். 

அமரகவி சித்தேஸ்வரர் இந்த நிலையை ஆனந்த ஆஸ்பதம் என்கிறார்.  இந்த நிலை கடல்போல எழுந்து ஒருவரை மூழ்கடித்துவிடும், அதனால் ஒருவர் இந்த நிலையிலிருந்து தன்னைக் காத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும் என்கிறார் அவர்.
