Verse 67

விசுத்தி

 மருவி நின்ற தலமதுதான் விசுத்தி வீடு

மகத்தான அறுகோணம் நன்றாய்ப் போட்டு

திருவிருந்த அறுகோணஞ் சுத்தி நல்ல

தீர்க்கமுடன் பதினாறு இதழ்தான் போட்டு

குருவிருந்த கோட்டை வெகு கருப்பாய் நிற்குங்

குணமான அக்கோட்டை நடுவிலேதான்

உருவரிந்து விந்திட்டு ஓங்காரஞ் சுத்தி

உத்தமனே வங்கிலி யங்கென்று போடே

Vishuddhi

Translation:

The site where it was remained associating so is the house of vishuddhi

Drawing the six pointed star well

Around the six pointed star where the sacred one resided

Draw sixteen petals

The fort where the guru resided is dark black

In the middle of that fort

Knowing the form draw the bindu and the omkara around it

The Supreme One! Add vang kili yang.

Commentary:

Agatthiyar is beginning to describe the vishuddhi cakra ritual.  It is a six point star around which sixteen petals are drawn. Agatthiyar calls this as the fort of the guru.  It is black in hue.  Siva’s black neck refers to this concept.  In the middle of the fort/cakra Agatthiyar instructs Pulatthiyar to draw the bindu and the omkara around it.  Then the bija akshara vang kili and yang are added to it.

விசுத்தி சக்கரத்தை விளக்கத் தொடங்குகிறார் அகத்தியர்.  அறுகோணம் அல்லது ஷட்கோணத்தைக் கொண்ட இந்த சக்கரத்தைச் சுற்றி பதினாறு இதழ்கள் போடவேண்டும் என்றும் அதன் மத்தியில் பிந்துவும் அதைச் சுற்றி ஓம்காரமும் போடவேண்டும் என்றும் அதனுடன் வங் கிலி யங் என்று எழுதவேண்டும் என்றும் அவர் கூறுகிறார்.  இந்த சக்கரத்தை குருவின் கோட்டை என்று அழைக்கும் அவர் அது கரிய நிறத்தில் இருக்கும் என்கிறார்.  சிவனின் கரிய கழுத்து இதைத்தான் குறிக்கிறது.
