Verse 111
Translation:
Explanation of
the origin and terminus
To those who
have realized sivajnana
The glory of
the merciful ones who have performed immense austerities
Nurturing the
gross by turning it into subtle
Remaining as
the cause for the subtle, the locus
Remaining with
the origin and terminus as one
As the
brilliance of the light of the flame
They will be
born in this world to nurture
Even if they
are born they will become Sivayogi, see this.
Commentary:
Agatthiyar
describes the birth of a soul that has attained the jnana state. Such a soul would have exhausted the cause
and effect, the reason for a birth and further births. This is the origin and terminus. Such a soul will end the gross manifestions
by transforming them into subtle manifestations, for example the gross senses
to subtle senses. Then the subtle state,
the locus the cause for the gross state is exchanged for the karana or causal
state. Thus they remain in the karana
nilai, the origin terminating the gross state, the kaariya nilai. They will remain in the form of jyothi. Even when they are born again into this world
they remain a sivayogi, one who I eternally associated with sivam or
consciousness. They are born to nurture
the world.
This verse
explains why great saints and liberated souls take birth in this world and
their status when they are born so.
