38. Derivatives of water principle

Verse 38

பாரப்பா அப்புடைய கூறு சொல்வேன்

பதிவான நீருடனே உதிரம் அப்பா

காரப்பா சுக்கிலமும் மூளை மச்சை

கருவான ஐந்துமடா அப்பின் கூறு

தேரப்பா அப்பினுட கூறறிந்து

தெளிந்து மனதொன்றாகத் தன்னைப் பாரு

சாரப்பா தன் உணர்வாய்ப் பார்த்தால் மைந்தா

தயவான தேய்வினுட கூறு கேளே

Translation:

See son, I will tell the derivatives of water

Sweat, blood, son,

Semen, brain, marrow

These five have parts of water

Knowing the water derivatives and become an expert

Becoming clear see self with mental focus

If you associate with them and see them as feeling of the self

I will tell you about the derivatives of tejas.

Commentary:

Sweat, blood, semen, brain and marrow are five derivatives from water element.  Agatthiyar tells Pulatthiyar to see them with mental focus and see them as the feeling of the self. 

வியர்வை, உதிரம், சுக்கிலம், மூளை, மச்சை ஆகிய ஐந்தும் நீரின் கூறுகள் என்று கூறுகிறார் அகத்தியர்.  இவற்றை புலத்தியர் மனக்குவிப்போடு ஆத்மா அனுபவிக்கும் உணர்வுகளாகப் பார்க்கவேண்டும் என்றும் அவர் கூறுகிறார்.  இதனை அடுத்து தேயு அல்லது அக்னி தத்துவத்தின் கூறைக் கூறுகிறேன் என்கிறார்.
