123. The Paraparam remained as all pervasive jyothi

Verse 123

பாரப்பா அனுக்கிரகம் செய்துநல்ல

பரமான பராபரந்தான் எங்குந்தானாய்

நேரப்பா நின்ற பரஞ் சோதியாகி

நிறைந்ததொரு சோதியாய் நின்ற போது

சாரப்பா முன் உதித்த எழுவர் தானும்

சங்கையுடன் அவர்கள் செய்யும் முறமைதன்னை

யாரப்பா அறிவார்கள் புலத்தியா கேள்

ஆதிதொடுத்து அந்தம்வரை அறிந்துகாணே

Translation:

See son, Blessing well so,

The good Param which is Paraparam

That which remains everywhere as Self, as Supreme effulgence (paramjyothi)

When it remained as fully complete brilliance

The seven who emerged

Their actions that they perform efficiently

Who knows them, Pulatthiya listen,

Know from the beginning to end.

Commentary:

After creating the seven active entities the Paraparam, the supreme effulgence remained in this world as light or jyothi.  Following its blessing of authority the seven started functioning.  Agatthiyar will be describing their actions next.

சிவன், சக்தி, சதாசிவன், மகேஸ்வரன், ருத்திரன், விஷ்ணு, பிரம்மன் என்ற எழுவரையும் படைத்த பிறகு பராபரம், பரஞ்சோதி எங்கும் நிறைந்த சோதியாக நின்றது.  அதனை அடுத்து அது அளித்த அனுகிரகத்தால் எழுவரும் தத்தம் செயல்களை செய்யத்தொடங்கினர்.
