Verse 514

எல்லாம் தான்தான்

சோதிஎன்ற அக்கினியே தான்தானாகும்

துலங்குகின்ற முச்சுடரும் தான்தானாகும்

ஆதியென்றும் அந்தமென்றும் தான்தானாகும்

அடங்கிநின்ற சிவயோகந் தான்தானாகும்

சாதிஎன்ற சமரசமுந் தான்தானாகும்

சச்சுதானந்த பூரணமும் தான்தானாகும்

நீதியுடன் தன்னறிவாய்ப் பார்க்கும்போது

நிறைந்துநின்ற பூரணமாய்க் காணலாச்சே

Translation

Everything is verily self

The Jyothi, the fire is self

The three flames is verily self

The origin and terminus are verily self

The sivayogam that remains abiding is verily self

The samarasa of the categories is verily self

The satchidananda poornam is verily self

While seeing it as the awareness of the self, lawfully

It appeared as the fully complete poornam

Commentary:

Agatthiyar defines self in this verse.  The effulgence, the fire of kundalini, the triple flames of sun moon and fire, the beginning and end are all the self.  The sivayogam or remaining in harmony with sivam or supreme consciousness is self.  Samarasa or equivalence all categories, the sat chit Ananda are all self.  Thus, the self, is the poornam.

தான் என்றால் என்ன என்று அகத்தியர் இப்பாடலில் விளக்குகிறார்.  சோதி, குண்டலினி அக்னி, சூரியன் சந்திரன் அக்னி என்னும் முத்தீ, ஆதி, அந்தம் சிவயோகம், ஜீவன் ஈஸ்வரன் என்ற ஜாதிகளின் சமரசம், சத்சிதானந்த பூரணம் எல்லாம் தானாகும் என்கிறார் அவர்.  தன்னைப் பற்றிய அறிவாகப் பார்க்கும்போது தான் என்பது பூரணம் என்று புலப்படுகிறது என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
