Verse 54

பாரப்பா ஆதாரக் கதவைச் சாற்றி

பலபலவாய் நின்றதொரு தாளைப் பூட்டி

நேரப்பா அப்பூட்டுத் தனக்கு மைந்தா

நிசமான சுழினையே கோல்தான் அப்பா

அறிந்து மிகத் தான் நிறுத்துப் பார்க்கும்போது

வீரப்பா கொண்டதொரு ஆறாதாரம்

விபரமுடன் தோணுதற்கு விபரங்கேளே

Translation:

See son, closing the doors of the adhara

Locking the several locks

For those locks, son,

The key is suzhinai (ajna)

Knowing this, if one weighs it carefully

The valorous six adhara

Commentary:

Agatthiyar explains why the ajna chakra is considered so important.  He says that it is the key which locks the six adhara or cakra.  He equates the cakra to doors that have locks and the key for the locks is suzhinai or ajna.  He is starting to explain the six adhara in the next few verses.

எதனால் ஆக்ஞா சக்கரம் முக்கியமானதாகக் கருதப்படுகிறது என்று அகத்தியர் இப்பாடலில் கூறுகிறார்.  அவர் ஆறு ஆதாரங்களைக்பூட்டுக்கள் கொண்ட கதவுகள் என்றும் அந்தக் கதவுகளைத் திறக்க பயன்படும் திறவுகோல் ஆக்ஞா அல்லது சுழினை என்றும் கூறுகிறார்.  இதனை அடுத்து அவர் ஆறு ஆதாரங்களை விளக்கப்போகிறார்.
