510. Paashaana kattu

Verse 510

நில்லென்ற நிலைதனிலே நின்றுகொண்டு

நீ மகனே இலுப்பையுடன் பாலை வாங்கி

செல்லென்ற பாஷாணக் கட்டி மேலே

செம்மையுடன் தான் தடவி மைந்தா கேளு

உல்லென்ற காயரைத்து பதமறிந்து மைந்தா

உண்மையுடன் புடம்போட உருகி நிற்கும்

சொல்லொன்றும் தவறாமல் தாம்பூரத்தில்

சுத்தமுடன் ஈந்திடுவாய் பத்துக்கொன்று

Translation:

Remaining the state

You son! Collecing the milk of mahua tree (iluppai maram)

Over the poison solification (sel, the paashaana kattu)

Spreading it, son, listen

Grinding the seed of ul

If it heated in flame it will melt

Without missing a word, on copper

You will offer ten to one/killing ten,

Commentary:

This verse is difficult to explain.  Let us see if we ca relate it to the principles we have seen so far.  Illuppai maram- i or the kamakala of creation.  Se- s-e. e represents the union of maya and isvara in all entities.  ca- mind.  Pa- purusha, shaa- rajas. U is ukara or sakti.  Thus this verse may mean bringing together the Lord’s desire to manifest, the mind, the maya and isvara, along with Sakthi.  The verse says “thaam pooram” which means consciousness.  One to ten may be prana, one of the ten breaths.

இப்பாடலின் பொருள் நேரிடையாக இல்லை.  நாம் இதுவரை பார்த்தவற்றைக் கொண்டு இதைப் புரிந்துகொள்ள முயலுவோம்.  இலுப்பை- இகாரம் இறைவனின் காமகலா அல்லது படைக்கவேண்டும் என்ற சங்கல்ப சக்தியைக் குறிக்கும்.  செல்- செ என்பது ஸ, எ என்று பிரித்து மனத்தையும் மாயையும் ஈசனும் எல்லாவற்றிலும் சேர்ந்திருப்பதைக் குறிக்கும்.  பாஷாணம்- ப- புருஷன், ஷ- ரஜோ குணம்.  உல்- உகாரம் சக்தி, குண்டலினி சக்தி.  இவற்றை “தாம் பூரத்தில்” பூச வேண்டும்என்கிறார் அகத்தியர். தாம் பூரம் என்பது உணர்வைக் குறிப்பதாகத் தோன்றுகிறது.  இவற்றை பத்துக்கொன்று கொடுக்கவேண்டும்- கும்பகம் அல்லது பிராணன்.
