509. Veeram, the poorna chandran

Verse 509

பாரடா எரித்துமிக இறக்கிவைத்து

பத்தியுடன் குளுந்தபின்பு எடுத்துப் பாரு

நேரடா வீரமதை என்ன சொல்வேன்

நிசமான பூரண சந்திரனைப் போலே

பேரடா பெற்றதொரு வீரமாச்சு

பிலமான வீரமதை யார்தான் காண்பார்

காரடா சற்குருவைத் தொழுது போற்றி

கனமான சிவா யோகக் கருத்தில் நில்லே

Translation:

See son, burning it well

See it with devotion after it cools down

How do I describe the veeram

Like the perfectly full moon

It became the veeram

Who will see the locus, the veeram

Praising the sathguru,

Remain in the siva yogam, the heavy one.

Commentary:

The veeram he mentions here is the light that occurs at the ajna.  It is the bilam or locus.  It will glow like the fullmoon, the poorna chandran.  Remaining perceiving this is sivayogam.  It is possible to remain in this state only by praising sathguru.

இங்கு வீரம் எனப்படுவது ஆக்ஞையை.  அங்கு இந்த யோகத்தினால் தோன்றும் தண்ணென்ற ஒளியே பூரண சந்திரன்.  இதைப் பார்க்க ஒருவர் சத்குருவைப் போற்றி சிவயோகத்தில் நிற்க வேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
