Verse 504

நாகக்கட்டு

சேர்த்துமிகத் தானுருக்க நாகந்தானும்

தீர்க்கமுடன் தானிருந்து கண் விட்டாடும்

பார்த்துமிக அந்நேரந் தங்கஞ் சேறு

பதிவான வீரமது கூடச் சேறு

காரத்து நன்றாய்ச் சேர்த்ததை நீஎடுத்துப்பாரு

கனகமயமானதொரு களங்கதாகும்

ஆற்றுமற்றுக்காசான் களங்குதன்னை

அன்புவைத்து வெள்ளி செம்பி லணைத்துப் பாரே

Translation:

Adding all and melting it, the snake

Will dance at its locus

Watching for that time add the gold

Add the veeram along with it.

And the kaaram.  Check it and see,

You will see a “kalangu” which is golden

The kalangu which is the teacher for the atma

Embrace it in silver and copper, with love.

Commentary:

Kalangu is preparations of metals with mercury and made into a pill.  The naagam means thutthanaagam or zinc.  It also means the kundalini sakthi.  Add the gold means waking it at muladhara.  To that is added breath and consciousness.  Agatthiyar calls this combination as the “kalangu”.  He says this will be golden and calls this as the teacher of the atma as it confers divine consciousness.  This combination is raised to the upper chakras that Agathiyar call as silver and copper.

நாகம் என்றால் துத்தநாகம் மற்றும் குண்டலினி சக்தி என்று பொருள்.  அது தனது இடமான மூலாதாரத்தில் எழுந்து தீர்க்கமாக ஆடும்.  அதை மூலாதாரம் குறிக்கும் தத்துவங்களுடனும் வீரம் காரம் எனப்படும் பிராணன் மற்றும் உணர்வுடன் சேர்த்தால் அது பொன்மயமான களங்காகும்.  களங்கு என்பது உலோகங்களை பாதரசத்துடன் சேர்த்து செய்யும் ஒரு கலவை.  இதை ஆத்மாவுக்கு ஆசான் என்று அகத்தியர் அழைக்கிறார்.  ஏனெனில் அதுவே ஆத்மாவுக்கு பரவுணர்வைத் தருகிறது.  அதை வெள்ளி செம்புடன் சேர்க்குமாறு அவர் கூறுகிறார்.  அதாவது உயர் சக்கரங்களுடன் சேர்க்கவேண்டும்.
