Verse 492

வாழலாம் சவுமியமாய் நின்றுகொண்டு

மகத்தான சாரசமுந் தாமென்றெண்ணி

ஆளலாம் அந்தரங்க மூலமாக

ஆதிபர ஞானவெளி சோதிபோலே

சூளலாஞ் சுத்த சித்த சுகத்தைப் பெற்றுத்

துலங்கலாம் மணி மகுடச் சோதி போலே

மேலெல்லாம் பாசமென்று நினைக்க வேண்டாம்

வேதாந்த பிண்ட மடா அண்டந்தானே

Translation:

Can live remaining as saumyam

Considering the great universes as Self

Can rule as the subtle origin

Like the Adi Para jnana veli Jyothi  (the original supreme space and effulgence of parajnana)

Can adorn, attaining the suddha sittha sukham (bliss of pure consciousness)

Can glow like the mani makuta jyothi (the crown jewel effulgence)

Do not consider these higher (states) as pasa

The universe (andam) is vedantic body (Vedanta pinda)

Commentary:

Agatthiyar describes the supreme state in this verse.  He calls it as Saumyam, the antharanga moolam, adi parajnanaveli jyoti, suddha chitta sukham and mani makuta jyothi.  He clarifies that this state is not pasa, it is a pure state of Vedanta, the terminus of knowledge, the state of remaining as Self with awareness.  He also explains that the macrocosm or andam is the Vedanta pindam or the body of the state that precedes knowledge. 

உச்ச நிலையை இப்பாடலில் விளக்குகிறார் அகத்தியர்.  அதை அவர் சௌமியம், அந்தரங்க மூலம், ஆதி பரஞானவெளி ஒளி, சுத்த சித்த சுகம், மணி மகுட சோதி என்று அழைக்கிறார்.  அந்த நிலை பாசம் அல்ல என்று கூறும் அவர் அண்டம் என்பது வேதாந்த பிண்டம் அதாவது அறிவைக் கடந்த நிலை என்று கூறுகிறார்.
