Verse 9
பாரென்று சொன்ன மொழி பெற்றுக்கொண்டு
பதிவான பொதிகைதனில் வாசமாகி
நேரென்று சௌமிய சாகரத்தைப் பார்த்து
நிச்சயமாய் அஷ்டாங்க யோகம் பார்க்கில்
சாரென்று பொதிகை மலை சார்புக்குள்ளே
சார்ந்திருந்த தபோதனர்கள் தானே கூடி
நேரென்ற பொதிகை தனின் முடிமேற்சென்று
மெஞ்ஞான சற்குரு
வென்று அடிபணிந்தார்
Translation:
Accepting the
command to see
Taking residence
in the Pothigai
Seeing the
saumya sagaram
And the
ashtanga yoga
Within the
shelves of the Pothigai mountain
The austere
souls assembled
Went to the
peak of Pothigai
They saluted
saying, “meijnana satguru”.
Commentary:
Agatthiyar
says that he received the divine instructions and took residence in the
Pothigai hill. There he remained critically
reviewing the saumya sagaram and the ashtanga yoga. At that time a group of tapasvis came to meet
him at the peak of Pothigai hill and stood saluting him.
இறைவனின் கட்டளையைப் பெற்ற அகத்தியர் பொதிகை மலைக்குச்
சென்று அதைத் தனது இருப்பிடமாகக் கொண்டார்.
அங்கிருந்தபடி அவர் சௌமிய சாகரம் மற்றும் அஷ்டாங்க யோகம் ஆகிய இரண்டையும்
பார்த்தபடி இருந்தார். அப்போது தபோதனர்கள்
பொதிகையின் உச்சியை அடைந்து அவரை மெய்ஞ்ஞான சற்குருவே என்று அவரை வணங்கி நின்றனர்.
பொதிகை என்பது உலகில் உள்ள மலை என்பதுடன் உடலில் உள்ள ஒரு
சக்தி மையத்தையும் குறிக்கிறது. இதைத்தான்
புராணங்கள் சிவனின் கட்டளையை ஏற்று அகத்தியர் தென்புலம் வந்தார் என்று கூறுகின்றன.
