501. Mortal life will become that of celesial

Verse 501

கூட்டி மிகவாய்நீரால் அரைத்து மைந்தா

குருவான தங்கமத்தின் மேலே பூசி

வாட்டி மிகப் புடம் போடத் தங்க நீறும்

மகத்தான பற்பமதை வைத்துக்கொண்டு

நாட்டமுடன் பணவிடைதான் தேனிற்கொண்டால்

நரசென்மம் அல்லவடா தேவனாச்சு

தாஷ்டிகமாய்த் தாய்பதத்தைப் பூசை பண்ணி

தானவனால் நின்றுதவந் தானேசெய்ய

Translation:

Son, mixing them together and grinding with water

Spreading it over the gold, the guru

Roasting it and incubating it in heat slowly the gold will become ashen

Saving the great ash

If a specific amount is consumed in honey

Not the mortal life but that of celestial

Worshiping the locus of Mother, elaborately

Remain so due to him and perform tapas.

Commentary:

The water mentioned is the jayaneer.  This mixture is spread over the gold or the chakra.  When it is burnt in the fire (fire of kundalini) it becomes ashen.  This is mixed with honey (the nectar from lalata) then the yogin lose his mortal life and become a Deva or celestial.  The locus of Sakthi, the mother, is worshipped and the yogin performs tapas by remaining as Self/due to the Lord’s help.

மேற்கூறிய கலவையை ஜெயநீரால் அரைத்து தங்கம் அல்லது சக்கரத்தில் பூசி, அதை வாட்டிப் புடம் போட வேண்டும்.  அப்போது தங்கள் சாம்பலாகும்.  அந்தப் பற்பத்தை தேன் அல்லது லலாட அமிர்தத்துடன் கொண்டால் மானிட சென்மம் மறைந்து தேவ நிலை கிட்டும்.  தாய் அல்லது சக்தியின் பதத்தைப் போற்றி தான் அவன் எனப்படும் இறைவனின் உதவியால் இந்த நிலையில் நின்று தவம் செய்யவேண்டும் என்கிறார் அகத்தியர்.
