500. Another method for perception

Verse 500

காணவே இன்னுமொரு கருவைக் கேளு

கருவான பேதியுடன் தாரங்கூட்டி

பேணவே தானரைக்க நீருன்டாகும்

பெருகி நின்ற நீரதனில் சொல்லக் கேளு

தோணவே அரிதாரம் வீரம் பூரம்

சுத்தமுடன் தானரைத்து ரவியில் வைத்து

உண்ணவே நீறியது பற்பமாகும்

உத்தமனே அதுவுடனே கெந்தி கூட்டே

Translation:

Listen to another method, to perceive,

Along with the essence, that which causes transformation, add arsenic

When it is ground it will become liquid

In that liquid

Add arsenic, bis and perchlorides of mercury

Place it in the sun

And when it is consumed it becomes blanched and ash

The supreme one!  Add sulphur to it

Commentary:

As usual we will see the philosophical interpretation.  The bedhi or that which causes transformation are the rasa a representation of it is the semen,  Dhaaram should be the adhara, so it may be the muladhara.  It is liquefied and to this is added the other chakra, prana and mind.  They are placed in the surya mandala.  All these will become ash or burnt.  They are then taken to muladhara. 

இப்பாடலுக்கான தத்துவ விளக்கம்.  பேதி என்றால் ஒன்றை மற்றொன்றாக மாற்றுவது.  இது ரசம் எனப்படும் உடலில் உள்ள பிராண சக்தியாகும்.  அதனுடன் தாரம் அல்லது ஆதாரமான மூலாதாரத்தைக் கூட்ட வேண்டும்.  அப்போது அது நீர்க்கும். அதனுடன் பிற ஆதாரங்களையும் மனம், உணர்வு ஆகியவற்றைச் சேர்த்து அவற்றை சூரிய மண்டலத்தில் வைக்க வேண்டும். அப்போது அவை பற்பமாகும்.  அவற்றை மூலாதாரத்தில் சேர்க்கவேண்டும்.
